Friday Confessions
I don't have one that I actually care to share yet, but I'll think of something.
What do you need to confess, kiddos?
(and keep it mostly clean, por favor!)

Re: Friday Confessions
I confess that I am still upset about the game on Monday. When I left my friend's mancave on Monday night after drinkig heavily, i punted a half solo cup of whiskey outside the door. Amazingly I didn't get any of the drink on my shoe.

Re: Friday Confessions
I went to bed Monday night upset as usual after a loss, but having watched the game in a sportsbar, I wasn't as in tune with what was going on. Tuesday when I started hearing what the national talking heads were saying, I started getting ****** and when I saw that Oneil was the same ref we had during the reverse free throw at KU, I about busted through the floor. Last night was the worst. I have let this eat at me way too much but I can't get over it.
On a personal note, I started P90X now 10 weeks ago and have dropped 30+ pounds and went from an embarasing 16 pushups to failure to 52 in that time. A big part of that transformation has been cutting out fast food and convenience store stops. Well, I had a busy week and fell back into some old habits and have probably had fast food at least once, sometimes twice a day this week. I'm afraid to step back on the scale.
Last one- I got a personal tour of the new football facility last week and have to admit I walked around with my chest puffed out a little further after that. Felt big time.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating. -

Re: Friday Confessions
Tuesday morning I had to be in Coralville for a meeting. Still upset about the game, I went to Scheels and bought three new ISU shirts and a new pair of shoes. While buying some stuff didn't help ease the BS from the night before, atleast I look good.

I was going to come in and say how I'm still mad, but clearly so is everyone else. I feel better now. I hope we destroy Oklahoma

Don't get back on the scale, but get some snacks that you can grab and take with you! Everyone has a bad day(s) but don't let it take over all the great progress you made, that is really impressive!

Re: Friday Confessions
I was more upset than I should have been about being snubbed for the Cyclone Fanatic bracketology.

Re: Friday Confessions
Hey, guys - we sort of have an overall ban on Friday Confessions threads, after the last several took some very sour turns.
I don't really want to close this, which is sort of the policy, so there's going to be VERY little leeway allowed.

They say that English surnames came from what you did with your life. I'm so glad my last name isn't Dickinson.
