My office is in my house. Pretty much an ISU theme going on. In the bottom picture you can see a framed photo from the ISU/Neb game in 2004 (Stevie Hicks scoring in the SEZ), had to buy it since I'm in the picture.

People sort of suck, don't they? I mean, she's also into girly stuff, so maybe I could throw a Disney princess party where they all wear mustaches. That would kick butt.

Well, I think it's safe to assume that nearly everyone here that has posted a picture of their desks would be horrified about how mine looks. I have papers everywhere, everything looks completely disorganized (looks, that's an important distinction), I have crates of books surrounding my desk, about 5 binders strewn around the front of my room, a filing cabinet with tons of stuff on it (again, all in messy piles that make sense to me), and then.... a tower of filing shelves for students to put their work in by period when it's due. (which, again, just looks like a massive amount of papers stacked up 2ft. high. Oh, and the last bit: I always have at least one filing cabinet drawer open at all times.

I want to make the theme of my daughter's 3-year-old birthday mustaches, but nobody else seems to think that's age- or gender-appropriate.

But her first birthday was pickles, how is that different?

I would go for it. I would also recommend not mentioning that there will be mustache rides on the invitation. If you want any other little girls to show up that is.
