I've been travelling to Oklahoma for work a lot lately and my wife came down with me this weekend and I think Oklahoma takes the cake with weird alcohol laws. Some things we found out this weekend:
1. Alcohol greater than 3.2% (basically anything but domestic beers) have to be sold at room temperature and only in licensed liquor stores.
1. Liquor stores cannot stay open past 9pm and cannot sell alcohol on Sunday or any holidays.
2. We were at the Hard Rock in Tulsa on Sunday and you cannot order liquor by the drink on Sunday in a place that doesn't serve food (who wrote these laws??).
3. Liquor by the drink didn't become legal until 1995(!) here.
They also have some odd gambling laws like playing craps and roulette with cards.
you guyz, my husband has been working since 4am with a break only between about 7:15 and just now. This is insane. If he is ever able to leave his phone/computer, I will give him a present.
I hate you guys.. We ( my wife and I ) had a sitter today.. We did a 5k fun run at 11 this morning then went to a bar.. Sitter went home kids and I are watching wreck it Ralph and dw is passed out in ze bedroom....
