    Centipedes are one my favorite insects. Fun to watch, slow, can't fly and don't make noise. I would wait until spring then free the poor guy.

    That is what causes me to have to drop what ever it is I'm doing at the time my wife finds one and kill it immediately. I warn you they are fast, but not faster than a .45LC.
