Best 2hrs of television I've watched in a very, very long time. I had recorded a replay from last week and finally watched it. Know the story well, but the way it was told in this episode is simply moving.

Jimmy V and his team captivated not only college basketball - but a nation too. I doubt many teams in the history of athletics had that much love, support and belief in one another. I can only imagine what else Jimmy could have accomplished if an overblown scandal had not ruined his coaching career and cancer had not stolen his life.

The fact the '83 NC State team won the title in a year/era where CBB was perhaps the toughest ever (with so many prolific players) is simply remarkable. It speaks highly of the TEAM Jimmy created and his staff/players continued to build. That team epitomized overcoming adversity.

I looked and didn't see another replay coming up - but I know DirecTV has it on demand.
