Ah man - I need to get my wife to hang around her and gal for sure. Maybe some of this sports love will rub off.

yea she wanted the orange ones, but they don't make those in women's. So I got her home blue. Man do they run small. My lady is small (5'2 110+/- lbs) but I had to get her a Medium for a shirt and its still tight!

Nothing at all with seeing your lady in a tight jersey, of course and nothing else, but that would not be appropriate for all situations.

Very true, that would make for some cold game days. Yes she has gone to some Bears games without me! Even without being a bears fan, a game is a game! But I went to Wrigley without her until she came with me the next time.

Kinda - but that's the beauty of it. She went/goes to iowa. But she HATES iowa fans. And because of that, iowa sports.

We had a deal -she could do the "University of iowa" stickers and such - that's school. But no "hawkeyes" - that's athletics.

Now that we've been married for 4 years - she's beginngin to break tat deal - but it's not for love of iowa, but rather to annoy her spouse.

That fact alone keeps me sane.

Hey, I actually just finished it! Every year, I make something - create something - just for her. To let her know she is my inspiration!

A little history. My wife is a cancer survivor. (Stage III in 2000) This year, in her honor I created and had professionally recorded a musical CD, using poems I have written during those eight years. All the poems are about cancer, survivors, and their families. I'm selling it this year as a fund-raiser for local "Relay For Life" events.

Anyway the last couple of nights have been combining the 12 songs to pictures of our life together, creating a unique video. The video (like the CD) is 40 minutes long. But finding all the pictures and placing them just in the right place to be in sync with the songs was quite a challenge.

Then to get everything to download on a DVD was another first time challenge for me (a lot slower than a CD.) Got a classy jewel case to put it in and when she opens it, she'll see the DVD with a Christmas poem. Quite original - if I do say so.

i havent really been with her long enough to beable to do something like that. I really just need a gift that is simple, will make her smile. but different in a way. thats damn hard to do
