You're nt the only one. My husband's been buying fool lately! Luckily, most of it is either Cyclones related or something we can both enjoy - which means it's only mostly for him!
My wife and I are going to wait until after Christmas. She's wanting to get a Wii. So we figure that if we wait we'll be able to pick it up. Her birthday is in February. That just might take care of both. That's not my idea either.
For her birthday a couple of months ago I went with the Sex in the City complete series box set and that went over well.
I like making things as I tend to lean towards the artistic side of things. I have done poems, songs, collages, picture videos. etc. Don't think too hard or it wont come to you. Do the first thing that comes to mind, then feed off of that. You may start it but think of how to make it better while doing it.
Nothing: we did book a flight to Germany though for a summer trip.
Got her two gifts...
Got her an Adrian Peterson jersey...shes a vikes fan and thats what she wanted, although i gave it to her two weeks ago so when we went to the Detroit game, she could show her colors....
For her other x-mas gift i gave her a Patio Heater...the big one, stands about 6 ft and kicks out about 50,000 btu....she loves to sit out on the deck with either the sis's or some friends and have a ummmm beverage from time to time...the kicker is she has poor circulation or something because when its 70 degrees out shes cold....so, now she can sit out there and chill without starting a bon-fire and smelling like she went camping....
She's gonna dig it.....
Plus its great for get togethers, when its cold, i can take it into the garage and heat it for all the smokers to go out there and get that fix without smellin up my casa!!!! Couple years ago, we had New Years party here and i used a co-workers and it was golden out there...it was like an 80's dance off party....too funny to watch, next time, i will have a camera rollin....
My ol' lady ain't earned a present yet....
Besides I do all my shoppin' at Casey's on Christmas Eve.
Does she like Hugh Grant? Try Sense & Sensibility on DVD. Very much a "chick flick", and one of his better movies.
Surprise and delivery are two huge elements of a wife's Christmas gift. I've often sent her, and the kids, on a "Treasure Hunt" where one clue leads to another and all create a puzzle she needs to solve to get her present. Hiding the clues can be a little tricky but evrybody seems to have fun.
I met my girl at church, so I got her a necklace with a heart centered on a cross (since our faith is the foundation of our relationship, I thought it was kinda appropriate). I know you just got jewelry, but there's a lot of cool stuff out there that can be very symbolic of whatever she means to you. Good luck!
I bought her a PS3 and GH3 along with Assassins Creed and Resistance: Fall of Man earlier this month and installed 2 weeks ago .....
How about giving her a blender. a wok, or a fondue. That always goes over big.
I never go wrong if I buy jewelry.:yes::yes::yes:
I did a build a bear, since we havent been together for too long i figured it would be a sweet touch..
