Here's one 33....one of my buddies bought his girl a remote car starter last year and that was a huge success....connected with the sentimental side i guess that she could start her car in our cold iowa mornings without going out etc etc...about 250 factory installed.....

Do you have any nice pictures together? You could get a nice frame and give it to her. It's something of the two of you that she could keep/look at for a while, rather than something like chocolates or flowers that are gone quickly.

and an Josh Turner CD ... she claims she likes him because he reminds her of me (which must be when she's totally drunk, and the bar is hazy with smoke, and I'm really far away - but still ...)

I always break the bank, but I like seeing her happy more than I enjoy getting anything myself.

EDIT: wow, that was totally sappy. I'm such a girl. I need to go watch the 300 and recover from this

Does she have any pics on a site like MySpace or Facebook or anything? I order pics online at kodakgallery.com and get really fast turnaround (you can even elect to pick them up in a store the next day) - and those would be pretty easy to gank without her knowing. You could even just ask her to throw them up there because you wanted to see them.

I am getting my wife a broom, a mop, and a new wash bucket. Something for the both of us :)

No kidding, I got her some nice stuff this year, but small things. We just got a new heating and cooling system, so we are pretty broke right now. Plus I am spending all the extra $$ I have on 529 extra contributions for the year.

Whatever you do, do not buy her a treadmill! I have a friend who received a treadmill for her first Christmas gift from her husband. Needless to say, it didn't go over too well.

How else are you supposed to subtley tell her she is fat? I mean, you have to tell her at some point, just suck it up and tell her or get her a treadmill. It is a quandry most of us are going to face at some point...

You could just be nice, and when she asks if these jeans make her look fat: Just tell her no, it is her fat tushey that is making her look fat.

But it goes both ways, if she thought I was getting fat, I would rather she just tell me so I can fix it before she goes out and gets herself a boyfriend on the side.

I got the wife Guitar Hero III - she's completely addicted to here GH II, so this will get us a 2nd wireless guitar too... (a little added bonus for me)... got her some music she's been asking for, framed some photos, etc... i like quantity to open... :)
