Re: Would You Help a Hawkeye??
Since I am a good Christian, I say you should always help out when there is an opportunity to help. We can always pray for healing when we are done helping them. Even when I don't help a hawk in need, I tell most of them when I meet them that I will be praying or their healing......
In all seriousness though, sports team allegiances I would hope would fall down the priority list when someone is in need or needs a helping hand.
Oh and ISU BET, I used to commute 30 miles to work in northern Iowa and always had to pass this idiot that drove stupid slow whenever we had a dusting of snow and there was days I wanted to open up a can of you know what on his sorry you know where. Well one day he got stuck in a snowdrift right off the road and I came to his aid and pulled him out and we both went on our merry way, of course I was much faster. So, long story short, us fast guys might have to help the slow guys that think their driving is so much better then ours and might wish us to go in the ditch.......

Re: Would You Help a Hawkeye??
you have to realize (big picture) we are all americans and we are all human beings, so of course you have to help...But as Cyclones we also realize and recognize that we just make better life choices that hawks.
Its funny you mention that, because I saw something similar happen...

what would superman do...
hmmm...
Superman doesn't need to stay warm.
He would have used his cape to wrap the
hawkette up with, and warmed HER up
nice and toasty!

Re: Would You Help a Hawkeye??
I think even if she had an F-YOU bumper sticker I would stop to help. If you think about stuff like that in this situation you are the one that needs help...
I realize isucyfan is just pointing out the irony of the situation and didn't give it a second thought to render aid... I have always wanted to say that... render aid!

Re: Would You Help a Hawkeye??
All my relatives are Hawk fans so yes I help them, in teh fact that I help them remember how horrible they are in football and basketball.
On a more serious note, if something major were to happen like that accident of course I'm going to be a good samaritan and help them out. Although they are hawk fans, they all deserve to be treated in teh same regard away from athletics
