    I don't get why it's obnoxious. I think it's nice to see the faces behind the posts. I think people tend to be more civil if they can see to whom they're replying.

    on some boards it is probably unnecessary but here, what's the big deal? We're a collective group of folks who are here to discuss the 'Clones. I don't view this board as 'anonymous' given the subject. In my opinion, at least on this board, making it more personal makes it more valuable and interesting.

    That said, if you're horribly ugly, I don't need to see your pic.
