I just thought I'd check on here since it was here I found the deal in the first place. Did anyone else that got the $20 preorder get an e-mail about their order being cancelled? I got an e-mail around 9:30pm tonight that my request to cancel my order had been completed (and I most definitely did not request to cancel my order). This seems very fishy to me as I know they raised the price $30 an hour or two after I completed my order...

I really hope that it's not an across-the-board type of thing. That would be pretty low of them, and lose them a lot of business I would think. Hopefully it was just an isolated mistake, they'll respond to my e-mail, and fix it. Doubt that'll happen though...

I got the same cancellation email, following the thread about this at slickdeals.net, it seems everybody who ordered it got a cancellation email, your not the only one.

Apparently it was a price mistake, and in the in the world of online shopping, that is enough justification for a retailer to cancel orders. (Funny how if this happened in an actual store, they would likely honor the price). I do quite a bit of deal shopping online, and this happens all the time. It is frustrating.

I try not to get too upset about it, sometimes these great deals actaully work, but often times they don't. I just shrug my shoulders and start looking for the next deal.

Just be thankful they have not done like other sites and just charged your CC the correct amount. That happend to my wife, she ordered something, and it was a price mistake, so they fixed it and charged her the difference. That was a nasty phone call, because they charged her the difference 2 weeks later after the items were shipped. That is also called credit card fraud!

Yeah I got one. I guess I will order it for $39.95 at walmart with my $10 card. That or that new scuba diving game, that looks cool.
