This was the best purchase I have made next to the PS3 This game just plain rocks. If you do not have it yet get it.

We use the GH3 guitar on Rock Band because we hate the one that came with it so much.

Rock Band gets the edge because they keep coming out with new songs, which is nice.

I heard PS3's wasn't compatible. The weird thing is, you can use the GH3 Guitar on Rock band on the 360, but not the other way around.

Still, the guitar on rock band is easier than on GH3, but the drums are where it's at, and the DLC every week is awesome.

Exactly, I don't know how many times I laughed so hard at that episode. My stomach almost hurt! "Wait son, I almost caught the dragon." "Dad you'll never catch the dragon, that's the whole point!"

That's great to know! We have Guitar Hero III, but my fiance wants to get Rock Band as well, and that will save buying an extra guitar for our jam sessions.

It works SO much better. We had to send our Rock Band one back because of some malfunction. They were great about sending a new one, but it's nice to have the GH3 wireless one.

If there are some people who don't want to play the drums, you can actually just get any USB microphone and use the GH3/2 guitars to get a pretty functional "band" without having to pay for the whole setup. We just got the whole thing because I used to play drums, but I know of some people who did it that way.
