I was going to go with 5% drop. Probably bigger early than a little rebound in the afternoon.

Is this the dreaded "readjustment" they've been talking about for the last year or more?

Yea, maybe you're right. The bottom will fall out early, but the bear buyers will come in later.

Me too. I did pretty well in 2001 with that strategy. Now all my money is tied up in mortgage and boat debt.

And I was dissapointed with mine, it is only down about 2.5%.

Ours is through principal. Its easy to lose and hard to gain. Anything over 8% is spectacular by their accounts.

I tried to warm you all of this back in October. I was told (not by you but others on this site) that I was a silly billy, dollar cost avg all the way, in it for the long term, yada yada..........

Get out now and stay out until Nov/Dec of 2008.

Makes you feel real good when social security is going down the crapper and your 401k is following suite right now too huh? Just pray one of your kids is a good athlete and at least makes the pros on some level to help take care of mom and dad right?
