Facebook vs Myspace
Which is better? My gf and I were debating this the other day. I personally am impressed with Facebook's networking capabilities. Thoughts?

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
Facebook. It is a lot easier to use.

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
I don't use facebook because I believe you have to have an email account from a school to sign up for it right? So I can't really compare.

I like Myspace a bit more. Since I was out of college and didn't have an edu email when the whole facebook thing started I can't get into the networks of the colleges I attended. I like being able to post bulletins and design my page on myspace. Both are great ways for me to catch up with friends all over the world.

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
anyone with any email can join facebook now, and it is far better than myspace

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
Facebook is so much better it is not even funny. You don't need a specific email address to sign up for it anymore.

I don't agree that it's far better though, there is too much plain crap on there, too many applications, stupid groups, etc.

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
Facebook, in a landslide, I have no desire to join MySpace.

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
I prefer myspace. To me its the easier one to use. PLus myspace has a better appearance facebook is very bland to me.

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
When I joined Facebook back in 2004 I quit using my myspace account. I like facebook more but it may be due to the fact that I was in college when I started and it was a college thing.

Re: Facebook vs Myspace
I have both, but rarely use Facebook any more. I guess if I was on it 24/7 it might make a difference, but getting invites to "take the movie quiz" and join the "drunk chicks out of control" group are annoying. I like myspace better because of the music and the way you can "pimp" your profile. (isn't that what the kids these days call it?) It just seems much easier to use.
OK, so the "drunk chicks out of control" group was cool, but not worth the effort. Attempting to debate with a person who has abandoned reason is like giving medicine to the dead. - Thomas Paine -
Re: Facebook vs Myspace
I got too much junk from Myspace. I would get all these spam requests, and it just got annoying. I really like Facebook hands down. I like all the applications you can add. They keep me entertained. -
Re: Facebook vs Myspace
NEITHER, seriously, they are abomintations! That is the worst collective sites on the internet. I would be emberrassed to have my personal site linked to anything in those two networks.
What scares me even more is these are the future leaders of our country. They cannot even figure out how to not put white text on a black background. Have I mentioned how much I hate myspace? Sorry, rant off.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Benjamin Franklin 1775 -
Re: Facebook vs Myspace
Is it just me or do they both suck......
I have never really used either of them, I would rather use messages boards such as this one. I am probably a member of about 30 different message boards.
Edit: great minds think alike Brian
