Uncontrolled Satellite Crashing Into Earth

Keep your eye on the sky in late Feb. or so...

Dead spy satellite could hit Earth - Space - MSNBC.com

I'm thinking in order to spare any lives, the best place this could crash would be Carver Hawkeye Arena during a game.

If the satellite were put on a moving treadmill that could match its speed, could we bring this under control?

Where are the Heroes when we need them?

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

Almost gave you negative rep for bringing up that thread - but it's still funny

Re: Uncontrolled Satellite Crashing Into Earth

What I'm worried about is if this satellite crashes into the ocean, it might wake a sleeping monster that could attack a major metropolitan area. Have the fighters, nukes and camcorders ready.
