Best Movie Ending Twists...

Was watching the original "Planet of the Apes" on AMC last night and remembered the first time I saw that movie and how awesome I thought that twist was. A couple others came to mind, too....

1) The Sixth Sense
2) Psycho
3) Fight Club
4) The Usual Suspects
5) Seven

Any thoughts on your favorites??

The Bone Collector was another good one with a twist at the end.

Sixth Sense then Usual Suspects

Toss up for me, loved both of them.

The first rule of Fight Club!

Sixth sense had a good twist in too, but I think I screamed in fight club when about 30 seconds before it, I realized finally what was going on. That is in my all time top 5 movies.

The Village. Any M. Night Shyamalan (sp?) movie aside from Lady in the Water.

As much as Saw IV was kind of a disappointment, it did throw one helluva curve ball at the end.

The best ever was The Empire Strikes Back. I mean come on. Who saw that coming. I know a few people that had it figured out Bruce Willis was dead. NOBODY knew that Darth Vader was actually Luke's father.

In fact, only Mark Hamill, James Earl Jones, and a handful of others knew when it was filmed. The original line was "I killed your father." They went back and added it in post production.

I remember watching Saw I on DVD. I knew that the guy on the floor wasn't really dead, but it STILL got me!

Saw had a great twist. Too bad the other ones have stunk something fierce.

Another great twist was The Others. The revelation is quite simple, but a great twist makes rewatching the movie a completely different experience.

I got another one along the lines of Saw: The Skeleton Key.

It is a lesser know movie but really solid and has a sick twist at the end!
