This is just insane. Those guys that created Yahoo! in their basement are ridulously rich already. I don't know if I want Microsoft to have Yahoo! I'm a Google fan anyway.

Yahoo has been run into the ground. How do you have 400 million email accounts (identifiable users) and not rake money in hand over fist? Google is great but you cant really identify a google users. If Yahoo was run as well as Google they'd both be monsters! I think mircosoft saw Yahoo at a great discount, they asked nicely last year to take over now they just taking it over. Stockholders are happy!

If this sale goes through, I wonder about Rivals, since it is owned by Yahoo!. Will it have changes made to the site?

I couldnt care less. These companies will grow and grow and grow, split, and grow again. There isnt much you can do and honestly it wont effect us much as consumers unless the cost increases for inferior product.
