Does anyone know if there is some sort of audio device that can stream music from your collection wirelessly? It needs to be somewhat portable so we can move it from room to room.
That is pretty sweet. Bookmarking it for down the road. :)
Currently I'll hook up our laptop to our receiver to play music on the stereo system in our living room. Would be nice to have a wireless way to do that.
Expensive though. If someone happens to find anything cheaper, please let me know.
Man for the price of that it is cheaper to put a couple more computers around the house to do it lol.
But that is what I do, hook a computer up to the entertainment system. You can use it with the internet to stream music and also act as a tivo and not.

Yeah I know, we have a computer in a few of the rooms, but overall I was looking for something compact and easily moveable. That system up top is super expensive and out of my league at this point. I may look into that Logitech one that was mentioned.

Old topic, but Sonos has a new speaker component called Play:3 that is a cheaper entry point to the whole house audio system. Super easy set up, sounds really good for it's size, and you can get to Play:3 speakers, pair them for stereo and the sound is significantly better than just one speaker.
