Re: Did You Make It To Work/Class Today?
I'm at work (but it's Texas - sunny and high 50's) but have just been hitting refresh on CR, CF and Cyclones.com

Sorry guys - it's a perk of moving down here...

Re: Did You Make It To Work/Class Today?
To repeat my comments on this matter yesterday- Exactly. I made the choice to move back to Iowa from Seattle, where the winters are very mild (although rainy), about one month before winter started. You need winter to help you fully appreciate summer.
If I was at all jealous of those of you who live in TX or any other warm climate, I would move there myself.

I didn't say jealous - i said it was a perk of living here to have sunny weather most of the time. And i go home to chicago every Xmas - which makes me appreciate the winters here - didn't mean to **** on your sandwich at lunch here...

Lived there my entire life before moving down here after graduating. But it sure doesn't suck digging my car out of a foot of ice every day. Not trying to rub it in anyone's face.

Well... Still no plow has gone by... I watched the noon news on KCCI, and the DM public works director said it could be FRIDAY before all residential streets get plowed.

Made it to class a-okay, no harm done.
In class #1, studied for exam in class #2. In class #2, finished exam in 15 minutes...cake walk, no joke. In class #3, followed the recruiting here and on cyclones.com.
Wasn't the most productive day, but I was there!

Nope. "Worked" from home.
I believed in Gene Chizik and all I got was this lousy limited-edition commemorative coin. -
