Re: O.T.: Need Advice!!!
I'm sorry - but I give a crap. I know how far some people came and made such an effort to be there. For me to just say hi and thanks at the wedding to them seems like a back handed slap. I wanted my friends and family to know how much them being there, helping us start our lives, etc meant to my wife and I.
And then, every wedding I've ever been to I have received a personal thank you card in the mail. Most people spend more than $30 on a present to make your wedding day special (cost of flying in, hotels, etc). If you want the presents and to just get married, take all of the money you're spending on booze and food for your wedding, and put it into buying a house, stuff, etc and don't invite anyone or pay for a wedding. The money will come out negligible, but the memories you don't have would be invaluable and non existent.
I'm pretty sure my friends and family are worth a 5 min thank you card and a stamp...
*End rant - turn in man card* :)

Just by writing a question here and waiting for responses, it seems to me that you are procrastinating even more. :)
