    I dunno. When I kiss my wife it shows that I love her passionately. I guess its just an instict to show affection in general.

    All the above? I don't have the best track record, I think I have kissed for about every reason imaginable...love (family), love (girlfriend), sexual arousal, mate assessment, bonding, drank too much, i was dared to, because it would make someone mad who i didn't like, to stay warm, to help her try out her new tongue ring...yeah, looking back I have kissed for some really good reasons and some really stupid reasons.
