Lindsay's Mom: Nude Photos 'Tastefully Done'

Lindsay Lohan's nude pictorial in the current issue of New York magazine has received the stamp of approval from her manager-mom Dina.

"I don't look at them like it's Playboy; she was being a character. So if you look at it that way, you can look at it as a mother."

And Dina adds that had the photos been inappropriate, Lindsay's sister Ali would not have visited the set. "Trust me," "I wouldn't have sent my 14-year-old to the set [if the shoot was in bad taste]. And obviously Lindsay wouldn't do anything with her sister there, that was risqué."

Lindsay, 21, also viewed the shoot as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Call me what you will, I think Lindsay is usually pretty attractive. Her pose as Marilyn is not one of them. Marilyn was never on my short list, though.

I've never seen a nude photo of an attractive girl that wasn't tastefully done.

I saw them yesterday. They arent bad. But Lindsay is old hat now. It would be different if she hadnt already showed the world "the goods"

I think she looks terrible in those photos... just awful... keep to the natural red, and go classic with that...

I'll admit that I've always had a thing for Lindsay. (Well not when she was bone skinny) But that wig and blonde hair killed it for me. Red head or even hair died darker looks soooo much better on her.

In another year you won't know she has freckles because she'll be freckled (blacked) out.

Do you suppose that photographer had been pitching the whole Marilyn thing to every tramp Hollywood spit out the last few years?

Photographer: "Hey Linds, I'd like to do this Marilyn Monroe/nudie thing. Was wondering if you'd be down?"
