It wasn't as strong of a contender as everyone thought it was going to be. It was kind of like the Hawkeye Football team, a lot of talk but nothing to back it up.

THe second Kingpin has been replaced... Sorry, no beerfest. The comittee (me) decided that it just didn't play in a strong enough conference.

I tell you what, this was tough work, had to move some movies to different regions. Sad thing is that I own and have seen almost all of these.

it was quickly repaced by "best in show" which I'm not even sure is a real movie ... never heard of it.

Not that old. I graduated in '82. I can't even tell you what the movie was that year. Heck I probably didn't even go to homecoming...

A comedy based on dog shows. Has some of the cast that use to do the Second City TV comedy show. Yeah that was a long time ago...

I also noticed that The Hustler and The Color of Money are in the same bracket.
