CF: Greatest Sports Movies (Guy Movie) 1st rd

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

The original "Rocky" was a masterpiece, no sequels come close, just wanted to go the distance....

I think Hoop Dreams has a chance at a major upset. Final Four anyone?

I'm surprised more people haven't seen North Dallas Forty. You should check it out.

The only version of The Longest Yard that should be watched is the Burt Reynolds version

I'm only voting for ones I've seen to be fair to the others.

No way. Rocky IV was BY FAR the best. Ivan Drago is the best villian in a sports movie ever! Just watching that movie makes me want to wrap myself in an american flag and flip off the USSR (which doesn't exist anymo so I will have to settle for Russia I guess...)

For the record, I think the 10th seed in this region is supposed to be the movie "When We Were Kings," not "We are Kings."

I can't believe Any Given Sunday is getting major votes. It was not good.

No doubt! I thought Any Given Sunday was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The Hustler is an all-time classic. There is no justice in the world if Any Given Sunday beats it.

It will be disgusting. While I think Raging Bull will be the first #1 to stumble but to lose to the Program???? I can't even sit through that movie. Let see a guy get hyped up on roids and get kicked off the team. It does have Halle Berry and James Caan in it, but besides that it's crap.

Raging Bull is one of the greatest films made of all time. And it has Joe Pesci. How can you not vote for Pesci. If you don't for Raging Bull he'll hunt you down and beat you with a baseball bat.
