I have them outside my house, and in the winter they take like 15 min to get gonig. It really sucks! I hate the darn things. Plus I like my lights dimmed sometimes, and you cannot do that with CFL's. Plus they give off odd colors, so they make your paint job look well just odd.
It's not the light bulbs....it's the adult beverage your drinking that make's you "think" colors are different!!
Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Chuck Norris pajamas.

Hope you're kidding...
As someone who's taken photography classes and was a VisCom Journalism emphasis at ISU, there's different "temperatures" of light which make them appear different colors. Incandescent light is inherently orange. Fluorescent light is inherently green. Outdoor light is inherently bluish. In todays digital cameras you can adjust how your camera will interpret the light to adjust for which light your are taking the picture.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
I've also changed every bulb where I can. I have two fixtures where I can't find one that fits, so I guess I'll have to change those fixtures out by 2014; and more importantly, as others have pointed out, they simply don't work outside during Iowa winters! Having illumination about half an hour after you flip the light switch is not very helpful.
