Has anyone else noticed that Cyclone Nation is really not about the cyclones anymore? I remember the change late last year, but I mean anytime i drop by there, it seems to be a story about someone that ISU may be recruiting but its about another team not ISU and how much that recruit loved this visit or that trip - nothing about ISU....Actually just the opposite, that website is actually advertising how they like another school not ISU....that sucks!!!!
Today its about how much Royce White loved his trip to Badger -ville.....I would rather read about how Harrison Barnes was playing ball last weekend with members of the ISU basketball team or something.....Let Badger lovers read about it on a badger board, not an isu board....
Last week it was about Moore and Kraft getting love from other schools and also about Iowa's junior day, Brandon Wegher's visit to Iowa...
Is CN now being run by Scout instead of some individual that cares about ISU athletics? I see all the stories are generated from Superprep or another Scout forum.
I might have to boycott CN for a while until they start posting stories about the school thats namesake is in the header!!!!
Last I heard they are looking for someone to take over a scout.com forum for ISU. Meanwhile at some point CN will become an independent site free of Scout.
Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:

I would give you two words that represent the name of someone who runs it but chances are it would come as all *'s... That would tell you why the site absolutely sucks moose pee of spruce tree's. Until they get someone with integrity and who is a true Cyclone, I won't go near it.
