IPRISM KILLS CF
IPRISM is an internet filter my employer uses to block access to sites we're not supposed to go. After all this time, CF has finally been tagged. CF joins the ranks of utube, smoking gun and lottery results. Withdrawal will continue indefinitely. My productivity will no doubt improve, but, my Cyclone knowledge will suffer.

Re: IPRISM KILLS CF
Can't you plug a phone line into your modem and connect via an outside dial-up ISP?
-
Re: IPRISM KILLS CF
I've never used one and I don't know how they work, but there are proxy server sites out there that you get around things like that.

Re: IPRISM KILLS CF
Just burn your place of work down a la Office Space.

I used to have a desk by a window, where I could watch the squirrels playing. That, and a red Swingline stapler.

Re: IPRISM KILLS CF

Re: IPRISM KILLS CF
atunnel.com is the way to go for the slug workplaces.

I am glad I control the filters here :)

I never had access to facebook, myspace, youtube at my place of employment.
However, they didn't block CF or break.com so I was still able to watch funny videos when I got bored.

Re: IPRISM KILLS CF
I am glad I have access to everything at work. Some days I really don't know what I would do without CF, youtube, and facebook.

Re: IPRISM KILLS CF
I find out from listening to students talk how they bypass our filters at school. They used myspace canada for a while, some other youtube, etc etc. Whenever I hear how they are doing it, I let my tech spec at school know and he blocks them. It generally is only myspace, youtube, and facebook. Thank god I have a password to bypass it myself and get on youtube
CF is not blocked, nor would I ever report students for getting on here.
