With gas going up and housing starts dropping off I can see myself with a 20% decrease in pay this year. Hopefuly someone elses misery will result in me picking up another line to sell so I can make up the difference. I guess I won't be upgrading my seats this year.
Last year and the year before I got 6%--but that was with a different company. I took a job at a different company about a month ago which involved about a 30% increase. Growing company and department, I am guessing I can excpect 5-7%.
Going from a GS-11 to GS-12 is quite the pay jump - 19.8% to be precise.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
5% here, unfortunately I am still under the MINIMUM for my position! I love how the corporate world works! The CEO, in addition to his 'normal' compensation(has not been announced yet) got an additional $2,000,000 in stock options!
On top of all this, bonuses for all eligible were cut down by 15% - 20% if you get any of it at all, even if you met or exceeded ALL of your objectives! Seems fair right!?!?!?
