    this is my point, Im not saying that killing animals is our god given right...I am saying he hit it with a golf shot. We eat animals that are tortured, he killed it in one shot. I am saying this is over blown. People hunt all the time, its bad becasue this was an "endangered/protected species" that does nothing and we wouldnt notice if it died out.

    The point is (which as per usual escapes so many) he intentionally shot at a protected species.

    This wasn't his second shot on hole 4, par 5. It wasn't a Robe Lowe-esque freak accident.

    Did he mean to kill it? Probably not. But then again, why take shots at it? Stupidity and/or ignorance is not a defense.
