    Great National Anthem rendition

These are ten year old girls singing the best version of the national anthem I have ever heard. It gives you chills.

If they could knock about 30 seconds off it, maybe. 1:30 is about the longest it should ever take. It's not a funeral dirge.

    Re: Great National Anthem rendition

My wife and I traveled to Lubbock a couple weeks back to take in the cyclone game. When the girls came out we were expecting a "cute" kid-like version of the national anthem but then we were blown away by there strong voices. Thanks for posting the video as it is good, but watching the girls live was absolutely amazing.

To bad TT could only get about 6,000 fans to the game on a Saturday afternoon. Traveling around the big 12 really makes you appreciate Hilton

    Re: Great National Anthem rendition

I forget where I read it, but I read somewhere recently that our National Anthem is just a redone drinking song. Makes me want to tip one back now
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

    Re: Great National Anthem rendition

They did a nice job. I hate it when soul or R&B singers draw out every note when singing the anthem. It's about honoring our country, not about how long you can hold out the word "glare." These girls just took it at a slower tempo, which I enjoyed.
