So, this is just a minor rant because I brought it on myself.

I bought a PS3 as a surprise for Ripvdub.

When do you think I will be able to spend time, just him and me, no PS3 again?

At least it doesn't cost as much as a purse and you both can share it.

NEVER!!! PS3 is very bad. Just as bad as sun is to Howie in Benchwarmers, sun bad, very bad!

My ex-gf (notice ex-gf) got really upset with me cause I played that a lot, and maybe too much over xmas break, but I was really into Call of Duty 4 and couldn't resist but playing that til 3-4 in the morning every morning lol.

****! That is the game I bought him! Call of Duty 4.

Oh, and I won't use the PS3.... unless they get some Nintendo type games. Sad to say, but the controller has too many buttons for me. :)

You need the nintendo controller with buttons a and b and the directional pad!

You can buy 'old' games from the playstation store.... directly from the PS# unit.

we have joust, rampage and a couple others.

I'm planning on getting a PS3 soon. I played COD 4 a couple weeks ago, and with GT5 coming out soon I'm hooked. I'm trying to convince myself to hold out until June 12th when the Metal Gear Solid 4/Dualshock 3 package comes out.

Hopefully the new Super Smash Bros. game will tide me over until then.

Speaking of Excitebike, I am HOOKED on ExciteTruck for the Wii. First of all, the name speaks for itself- it is exciting, and it has trucks. Seriously though, this game FUN. You hold the controller like a steering wheel (like Mariokart will be) and tilt it to steer. Nothing like sitting 3 feet from a 52" screen, flying through the air in a truck at 400 mph and knocking another truck into a tree.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, I've just been meaning to say something about this game for awhile. I just beat it last night, now maybe I can move on to other games, like Mario Galaxy. Until now, everytime I sat down to play any other game, I ended up playing Excitetruck.

At least it is cheaper and much more useful than a purse!
