What the **** is wrong with that lady? Seriously... I don't even know what to say about that. I'm glad the kids survived...
Doubt the husband is going to have any trouble getting custody...

I'm usually against the death penalty, but maybe I can make an exception.....

I dunno, you'd be opening the door up for state assisted suicide...
Though given that the lady doesn't seem to benefit society and isn't even capable of removing herself from it... maybe we could make an exception.
It's really strange... human life is so fragile but some people seem to have trouble taking their own life...

I just cannot understand this. Before I had kids, I would just turn a blind eye to stuff like this. After having kids and realizing they are the center of my life, I cannot even imagine this. How sick do you have to be to hurt your own children?

Yeah, it's been the main story all around the city this morning. It's unbelievable. Divine intervention is the only reasoning I can come up with that the kids didn't get hurt more than they did.
Oh, and we're in Texas - the death penalty is still practiced here!

In this incident I am 100% against the death penalty. Considering the woman wanted to die, killing her would be doing her a favor. I say let her spend the rest of her life in prison. Now that would be a just punishment.

I say in that case pick the punishment by whatever is cheaper to the taxpayer.

I agree. Plus for some reason inmates hate baby killers and molesters. They tend to gang up on such people and punish them. It works out in the end.

Oddly enough, I made a big joke, yesterday, about jumping out of my window at work.
I told everyone that I was fed up, and I just couldn't take it anymore, and there was nothing they could do to stop me. And then I jumped.
Of course, my office is on the ground floor. Maybe if I did it five more times, it would be equivalent to jumping out of a five story building?
Back to the topic: People like this need to be beaten, severely, and then beaten again. I am, first and foremost, a "daddy". I cannot STAND people who hurt kids.
