Edit: I was wrong they were both call Bird of Prey at one point ... Klingon starships - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Romulan starships - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

How much extra credit did you get for that?
Can your 6 pallbearers read that? This might cause some trouble in the future -

A Romulan ship in the original Star Trek series was indeed called a Bird of Prey. The Klingon Bird of Prey didn't show up until the movie Star Trek III, which prominently featured the Klingons. Early drafts of the screenplay for that movie had Romulans as the primary enemy, hence the use of the name "Bird of Prey" for the ship. Later drafts changed the enemy from the Romulans to the Klingons, but somehow Bird of Prey remained in the screenplay and made it into the movie. Ever since, the Klingons' most common ship in the Star Trek universe has been the Bird of Prey.
I'll go give myself a swirly now so no one else has to bother.

Re: Geek Test
I thought in '06 when we had the waving cowboy and the horses head was kinda geeky, but the enterprise, the torpedo, and the other ship took the cake. If nothing else the band is trying to stay creative. Gotta give them credit for that.

Wish I could be there. I'd have a blast being security for Cosmos. Last semester, a kid in our AerE class wanted one, so John and Dana found one for him.
