    Re: Looking for new music

didn't System of a Down have a song on an album that was released prior to 9/11 that had references to planes flying into a buildings and anarchy etc... in the lyrics?
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

If you like White Stripes try recantours. Just came out with a new album. Still has Jack White but with a band instead of just her worthless drumming

And one of the Raconteurs is Brenden Benson, who has some great power pop albums out.

    9. A Place To Bury Strangers -- "A Place To Bury Strangers"

    8. Cold War Kids -- "Robbers and Cowards"

    7. Radiohead -- "In Rainbows"

    6. Modest Mouse -- "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank"

    5. The Go! Team -- "Proof of Youth"

Hey - I liked Green Day and Offspring. Oh wait - let me rephrase. If they had just stuck to the "Dookie" and "Smash" albums and put nothing else out that might be a true statement...

    Re: Looking for new music

Just looking at my Itunes list of over 4 stars. Here are the bands with the most.

    #1 Led Zeppelin
    #2 White Stripes
#3 Nirvana (From the muddy banks is my favorite)
    #4 Rolling Stones
    #5 Muddy Waters
    #6 Billie Holiday

Wife just bought some Paramore CD. Doesn't sound like my type of music though.
