Steve Deace
Is Steve Deace really out at WHO or was it an April fool's joke. I saw no news articles on it and he is still on whoradio.com?

Re: Steve Deace
He was doing his show on the drive home yesterday afternoon. I was listening until around 5:40 or so. They were talking about the Pizza Hut driver who shot a robber over the weekend.

Re: Steve Deace
Final segement yesterday he stated he was being removed by Clear Channel management not in Des Moines.

Re: Steve Deace
He did this same thing 3 years ago, where he did the whole, "he's going back to Michigan and Jon Miller was taking over his show, schtick."
Hopefully, this will be a prediction, as well as an April fool's joke.

I only caught the last couple of minutes, so I didn't hear all of it.

Re: Steve Deace
I always liked his sports show. The show on WHO has TOO MANY commercials. Makes it hard to listen to.

Re: Steve Deace
I always enjoyed his sports show as well. I don't listen to him very much at all now but when I do, he seems to be a lot more ego and full of himself(literally and bodily) on his show now. I agree with a lot of his political and religious views but don't like the way he comes across the airways being so judgemental.
Maybe it was because I was so nieve(sp) when I first got down here and thought he was genuine and now that I know better, I see him for what he is.

Re: Steve Deace
Maybe he has been pretending to like Jesus this whole time just to make money...like he's done with Iowa State.

He's opinionated--but isn't everyone that posts here also opinionated? Only difference is that we don't get paid to do this over the air like he does. He wouldn't have the job he does if he didn't like to express his opinions. I don't agree with everything he says....but I don't begrudge him for saying it or having the job that allows him to say it.
And he definately isn't pretending to be religous, that I can promise you. He truly believes in what he says in that respect---I think the problem with him is that he's just isn't overly personable and not easily likeable....and that doesn't make him a bad person.

Radio and television both seem like they have 20-25% commercial time. That is why men are channel flippers who do not care about ads where the women will sit through the ads and watch the Kool products presented.
Does any man out there flip channels less than their spouse? Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Steve Deace
Jeremy, when did the Deace filter get removed? That used to get *****'d out like a curse word at one time.
