Okay all, be honest.
When was the last time you washed (with soap) your coffee mug/cup you use everyday?
I wash mine once a week. It is white, on purpose, so I can see the coffee stains... making me clean it.
-keep.

Once a year. If it needs it or not.
Did it yesterday! But I think it had been a year ago that I did it the last time.
Every morning before I use it. I use dairy creamer and I don't feel like getting sick over something stupid like a dirty coffee mug, especially when I clean out my cereal bowl every morning.
I take mine home every day and it gets cleaned in the dishwasher. I rotate about 4-5 mugs.
I am not that grown up (only grown ups drink coffee). But the protein shake shaker gets washed after every use.
I don't drink coffee, but if I did I think I would take it home everyday and have a different one in the morning.
I drink my coffee straight from the pot.
Or in styrofoam cups. Eat that Al Gore!
I don't drink coffee either, but I get a new Mountain Dew bottle from the machine about every day so I think I'm safe.
There's several guys in my office who have white mugs that are virtually black on the inside. Pretty nasty. I wash mine at least once a week by hand and run it through the dishwasher every month or so.
I usually put mine in the dishwasher once a week. I rinse the mug out with water every morning when I get to work.
Another question: How long have you used your current cup? I've used the same Iowa State Civil Engineering mug since I graduated about 4 years ago. I think the day I break it, I may cry. I'm so attached.
If it was still before 10:30 I would be there buying one right now. thanks alot, now I will be thinking of McGriddles all day.
My work mug has seen various beverages and food. I made a microwave omelete in it the other day. I usually wash it out quick with water if I have coffee or other simple beverages. For food items, sugary drinks, or if Ive been sick, it goes through the home dishwasher.
Oh btw. Its a white coffee-house type mug with an ugly chicken on it.
