Don't listen to the radio much in the morning... though when I've been around radios in the morning I prefer Bob and Tom to Mancow. Of course I listen to Country... so I only hear either of those two when I'm working around other people
Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy
This might be a dumb question but how long has Des Moines carried ESPN the radio? I used to get so mad because I could never get it here and then one of my buddies told me about 1700 a couple weeks ago. That was the very first I had heard of it being around here.
Do you guys not get Dan Patrick there? He broadcasts out of Chicago now. I think he's the best morning talk show host ever. He can be serious one minute and funny the next. He's actually better now that he left ESPN. No one compares to him. He doesn't spend half his show taking calls or reading emails like some people do. Was surprised to find that he's not even on the poll.
"If you can't hear me, it's because I'm in parentheses."
I wake up to Mike and Mike almost every morning, which is amazing for a college kid I think. Their show is the best in all of sports talk IMO. Two sports savvy guys who I rarely find myself saying "they aren't making a good point." Not to mention their shenanigans, weird bets, and off-topic pop culture stuff. No one else comes close in the sports realm.
