Re: Lake Trout....errr right!
I think I've seen that in my toilet on mornings following a few too many.

Re: Lake Trout....errr right!
Makes me wanna go for a swim in that lake.
Step 1: Cut a hole in the box. -
Re: Lake Trout....errr right!
If I ever, ever catch anything that looks remotely like that little dude, I'm cutting the line. -
Re: Lake Trout....errr right!
I cant believe it was found in the little lake that had goldfish and carp as the primary stock. I may rethink wading through small ponds =) Just think of the creatures in Lake Laverne

Re: Lake Trout....errr right!
Does Lake Laverne have enough oxygen in the water, with all the algae and muck living in it, to support fish?

Re: Lake Trout....errr right!
I always love watching them clean out lake laverne and seeing all types of objects being pulled out.

Well, lets hope that the cold water would kill most of that off. The alligator for sure (thats just mean). Are oscars fresh water?

We used to get on the roof at the Memorial Union and throw a rock into the lake as people would walk by. They would just stare in the water waiting for something to come out of it. Alway good for a laugh.

I had a snakehead in college before they were outlawed in the U.S. He was about 12-14 inches long, and would eat about 40 minnows in one sitting. BTW, I sold him to a pet store; I didn't put him in Lake Laverne.

LOL, I suppose if lake Laverne was deep enough it could sustain some of these fish, but Im pretty sure its shallow throughout. Would take some tough fish.
