For those of you who haven't met Jeremy, exercise is not an option.
I just get rid of it at home, and make sure only get water or tea when going out. Besides occasional fast food, I'm proud to say I don't drink pop!!!!!

Pepsi couldn't lose out to Coke in that sector, so instead of trying to improve their current product they instead bought Gatorade and phased out All Sport. Now it's a Coke v. Pepsi battle, as usual.
I for the most part went cold turkey on my pop drinking. I'll maybe drink one or two on Sunday, and that's it. I used to be really big into regular pop, but then I switched to diet because drinking 5 or more regular pops a day during college was contributing to me becoming even more fat. What really made me cut out pop altogether recently (including Coke Zero) is because filling your body with all of those artificial sweeteners is just as bad if not worse than drinking all that sugar because artificial sweeteners will mess up your metabolism. When you intake something sweet, your pancreas releases insulin so the body can process it. When you start intaking artificial sweeteners, your pancreas still releases insulin, but suddenly there's nothing there to be processed. While this sounds all well and good, eventually the body catches on and stops releasing insulin when you start intaking sweet things. You then end up with the problem that your pancreas doesn't release insulin when you need it. Allow this process to go on long enough and your body develops type II diabetes.
All of this is also why I won't drink beverages such as Crystal Light, Propel, or other "diet" beverages because they also contain artificial sweeteners (Crystal Light has aspartame and Propel has sucralose). My nutritionist told me he would rather I have a little bit of Gatorade or Vitamin Water, which contain various forms of sugar, instead of anything with artificial sweeteners.
I haven't actually "kicked" my caffeine addiction, though, although it is more under control. I will have some coffee first thing in the morning and have water/Gatorade/Vitamin Water for the rest of the day (mostly plain water).
And for the person who said their stomach gets funky when they drink Propel, that's because sucralose is actually a kind of laxative. As soon as AllSport went to that non-carbonated horrid tasting concoction, I quit drinking it.

Also why does tea come in glass bottles, always been curious about that.

That way his hands are free and if he stops pedaling the computer stops working. Best of both worlds.

Re: I've Got A Drinking Problem
I quit drinking pop as soon as I got old enough to drink gin! I have gained weight from the tonic water, not the gin!
I can not drink diet pop, something in diet pop makes me want to eat more.
My wife tried to quit drinking her pepsi several years ago and finally had to just go cold turkey, completely out of the house.
Jeremy, exercise is overated!

Re: I've Got A Drinking Problem
Jeremy - Try weening yourself off the pop with those cute little 8 oz. cans. I switched to those a while back and now when I pick up a 12 oz. can it feels like I'm picking up a keg. Way too much pop at one time! I've also found it's the perfect amount for a bag of popcorn while watching a movie. Makes you savor each sip!
Also, give Crystal Light Raspberry Ice a try. I just pour the powder in my water bottle and shake it up. Plus, I find myself reaching for that in the fridge much more often than a can of pop.

Re: I've Got A Drinking Problem
I rarely drink pop, but if I'm going for a fast food lunch I always order a liter of cola!
