Even in mid April it looks like Iowa could get clipped with some snow especially the western and northern portions. I would not be surprised if on Saturday morning there is enough that snow is sticking to the ground.

Ugh
It's the winter that won't die.
At least it's supposed to be in the 60s next week!
Really not a big deal when it will likely total an 1" or less if it sticks and will melt within 24hrs.
60s next week.
I'm supposed to be golfing in Ames this weekend for VEISHEA. Last year, the weather was perfect, so I suppose this makes up for it. I don't have to like it though.
Snow in April? There are times I do not miss Iowa.
We had the lowest temperature for the state of Alaska last evening at minus 16 degrees and have several feet of snow on the ground.
And its only approximately six months until the first snow for next winter:smile::smile::smile::smile:
Gonna be a great VEISHEA weekend, temps in the 30's and snow, woo!
I don't understand why Veishea is so early this year..
Isn't it usually the last weekend of April?
Bring on the snow and high temps to follow. The morel mushrooms are going to be HUGE this year.
I thought everyone knew that Global Warming and "Climate Change" is responsible for the "abnormal" weather we are having. It should be obvious that global warming is the cause of all this snow, cold weather, and global cooling. How silly must you be not to understand....
I hate snow
