I don't listen to radio or watch Music TV, so I don't get exposed to much mainstream music. Which is by design. You don't find much punk or independent music from the mainstream media media.

Mutt really went over the top with Def Leppard, but he did sell billions of albums for them, which I guess was his job. I just always have trouble with stuff that is designed from it's inception to appeal to those with no musical knowledge, taste. In other words, the general public.
