So I saw this movie last night and really enjoyed it. I wish they could have found someone other than Jack Black to play the role of the eccentric movie producer however. He just didn't fit well into the movie IMO.

Rest of the movie was stellar. My wife has never seen a King Kong movie and I told her it was a love story. She scoffed at me when I said that but she was bawling at the end when Kong was killed.

I really like the movie but someone else could have been cast instead of Jack Black. To me, he just isn't this type of actor.

Yeah I was a big fan. Thought all of the creepy crawlies they fought were great!

I didn't really like it either, and struggled to hold in my laughter when someone was crying in the theater behind us.
