Anybody going further down 80 in August? Lollapolloza in Chicago is some absolutely amazing talent. I am trying to secure tickets as we speak. Radiohead, NIN, reunited Rage, Kanye, Raconteurs (Jack White from the White Stripes). Heck, the only way that concert could be any better is if Cobain rose from the ashes and played Teen Spirit again.

They've also got Yonder Mountain String Band and Radio Moscow and a bunch that haven't been announced. Plus it's only $40 for the two days.
This is a big win all around.

Flaming Lips is worth the 2 day cost by themselves...plus through Iowatix I won't have to pay ticketmaster $10/ticket.

For a first time festival, this is a strong lineup. Either way, this is great for the area and the music scene in Des Moines.
