Dumb comments by fans...

Any funny or dumb comments you've ever heard a fan yell during a game? Any good ones?

I was at a juco college football game (NIACC if you ever heard of them) and a fan turned to me and says to me "I can't believe we don't have any jr. or sr. on our team!!! Wow, we are young!"

I thought it was hilarious but I laugh at anything so i'll let you be the judge...sorry if it was a had to be there types of moments...

Someone told Okie Light wrestling coach John Smith to "get help from Pocahontas" a couple of years ago at the ISU/OSU wrestling dual.

Not dumb but funny.

This happened at the Missouri basketball game during Jeff Grayer's senior year (this game sticks out because we went to the game as a study break from a Finance exam we had 8:00 the next morning). I remember the game being intense and the fans really into it. Derrick Chievous was getting the calls against Grayer. Then there was 1 foul that everyone got upset about. We were in the balcony (nose bleed) and behind us were some international students. The game was so intense that one of the international students stood up and started screaming something in his native language while he had this angry look on his face. Then a buddy next to me looked at me and then screamed, "Yeah! what he said!" everyone in our group started laughing.

My dad and I were at the Nebraska/ISU football game in Lincoln a couple of years ago. Some ISU fans were jingling their keys by us and a husker fan decided to rip on them by saying "what are those, the keys to your tractors..ha ha"

Last time I checked Nebraska was as farmy as Iowa. Jokes on you pal.

at an oklahoma pick up game against n. texas back in the early eighties the people sitting in front of me were joking about the n. texas team when one of the n. texas fans who was sitting in front of them turned around and said...yeah and we would have beat y'all if we didn't have that ******* N in front of our name...we all rolled over laughing...

try as you must to put down nic nac, but i went to nic-nac for a bit. i still work in the area as well...

While watching the ISU-Iowa basketball game a couple of years ago at a bar, this woman Hawk fan yells (I am not making this up) "He went to my Junior College!!".

My friend and I were stunned to witness such a huge corroboration of one of the biggest Hawk fan clichés.
