    Our ethernet for our Iowa Telecom Netopia 2240n-vgx is broken. What kind of ethernet do I need to buy? (Name, type) Thanks .

    I don't know what "ethernet is broken" means.

    Do you mean the ethernet port on the modem is broken? If that's the case, you need a new modem.

    If the modem is shot, you might as well buy a new modem and cut yourself the $5 a month fee that Iowa Telecom is probably charging you for rent.
