OT: "True Romance" lovers...The latest Maxim has an awesome
article called "True Romance: An Oral History". It's about how 15 years ago, the movie tanked, yet found a cult following on video and DVD and is still today talked about as a classic.
Tarantino is interviewed and said his original thought of who would play Clarence was Robert Caradine and he wrote the role of Alabama with Joan Cusack in mind. How crazy is that? I could never see her in that role. Patricia Arquette is perfect.
Just found the article online...enjoy!
By the way, I just threw in the DVD. :) True Romance 15 Years Later on Maxim.com : Hot Girls, Sex, Photos, Hot Videos, Sports, Movies and Music -

Plus, they talk about that scene in the hotel room with Arquette and Gandolfini. I love this movie...
