More internet help

On my modem, (IA telecom silver netopia) the dsl light is continually blinking, and there is no internet light. I've tried everything, and gone over it with the Iowa Telecom guys. Any help? Is my modem shot?

Either the modem is shot, or there is something wrong with your line.

IowaTelecom might be of better service with the account holder on the phone. It may be best to one of your parents on the line or have them ask IowaTelecom for you to have access on their behalf..

Good luck on getting Iowa Telecomm to help much, they have no clue what they are doing. My wifes parents have their internet/email through them. Sometimes it takes them 2 days to send email, Iowa Telecomms answer was that was normal.

reset the modem, you'll need a paperclip. Also make sure all your phones are flitered correctly

I've done it 4-5 times, repeatedly power cycled the modem, checked the phones for filter three times, and hooked it up to a different phone line....I'm pretty sure it's the modem.

My parents aren't great with setting up technology....and I know their password and stuff. BTW, they moved me up to an advanced ticket, but haven't gotten back to me in three days.
