We used to have a couple of managers who always insisted on taking visitng customers out for sushi during lunch. There were always those in the visiting party who resisted but, the managers were good at coaxing them into going. The ones who liked sushi were fine, and the ones who didn't like it ended up being PO'd for the rest of the visit because they ended up eating raw fish. Thank goodness those guys are gone... Next time you are forced to go, look for the word Tempura. That means fried. So if it is shrimp tempura, it will consist of fried shrimp veggies and rice.
Also another safe bet is a california roll, usually those are boiled fake crab meat, avacado, cucumber and rice.

Seriously, how many of these types of threads do we need? You know you're interrupting my Cyclone knowledge gathering or something. There is nothing going on in cyclone world. Welcome to summer on CF, one random thread to the next. Off topic is the #1 topic until Aug 1.

I love sushi but there are types that aren't as good, so maybe some of you that don't like it tried the wrong kind. Also, you need a pretty good sushi restaurant to make it good. And there are even non-raw varieties, which I prefer unless in said nice restaurant. I think some of the people that don't like it just don't like the seaweed, which is understandable.
Oh, and boiled peanuts are great!

Chocolate Peanutbutter Marshmellow shake from Dairy Queen. I'm sure other people might like this, but I get some weird looks from the people behind the counter when I order it.
