2 min temp rise? I have felt like a 25 degree cool down in 2 min, but never a huge rise before.

I'm going to guess this rise coincided with sunrise. Possibly a warm front coming in at the same time.

On January 22 1943, the temperature at Spearfish, South Dakota rose from minus 4°F at 7.30am to 45°F at 7.32 am (a 49°F rise in just 2 minutes!).
