Mario Kart for Wii

The wife and I are looking to get a new Wii game and were thinking about getting Mario Kart. We've enjoyed the Mario Kart games for SNES and N64, so we were just wondering if anyone likes the one for Wii. It's a game we could both agree on liking and playing.

I think it's a great game, so far. I love the online play, which is much better implemented than it was in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. The steering is so much more natural with the controller tilt function. Plus, they've got a whole bunch of stages in there from the SNES, N64, and DS versions, which is a great addition.

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

This is Cyclone Football.

I've got it... It is very fun to play. The online feature is fun... although sometimes it can take a couple of minutes to join a game in progress.

We've been discussing it here:

I love this game! It is a fun racing game, whether using the Wii Wheel or just holding the remote sideways and turning it like a steering wheel. Some very good new tracks, as well as retro tracks from SNES, GBA, N64, and GameCube. In addition to the Karts, there are Bikes!

Any idea where to get the wheel for the game the cheapest?

Not to be a spoiler, but you'll probably like Rainbow Road. There are a few things from Mario Galaxy.

Excellent, I love when they bring in other games. There is a level in smash brothers brawl that is set in the old original mario brothers game.

I played it for the first time last night and it was very fun. While I haven't got into it yet, the only and tournament play is intriguing.
